Post subject: Chronic Call Syndrome
Now then Lads! Hope you're all well - i've been suffering some nasty symptoms myself - cold sweats, palpitations, shakes etc... Since the Doc was frickin useless I'm calling it Chronic Call Syndrome (Common causes; Lack of Gig attendance and purchase of new EP!).

What's coming up??! How's the EP?

Course, it could be the fact that i attempted to give up drink for more than three days - but since i haven't managed that in several years i don't have any way of knowing...

Ah yes, a classic case Nick! We best get some gigs sorted sharpish!

The EP is finished, but we don't have any artwork for it yet and it also takes a few weeks at the pressing plant so you might have to wait a smidgin longer for it!

Hmmm? A second opinion does indeed confirm the Chronic Call Syndrome Nick.

A quick dose of forum action will not cure the condition I'm afraid. Myself and others on the medical staff are currently working for a permenant solution.

Here are the following steps to recovery:

1. We get the final mastered EP in our hands.

2. We produce 3 (yes 3!) million copies of it.

3. A record company says "my god! This is definitely the saviour of the music charts, here is 40p to market the thing globally".

4. We book 7 gigs in The Mags (which you attend, enjoy largely and purchase summat from us).

5. You feel your debt is lifted and the repayments are just small enough to cover through direct debit for the next 78 years of your life on a hire purchase, consolidation, debt matters, picture the loan solution.

6. Take these pills three times a day until sorted.

Phew! No honestly - You are welcome fella!! Laughing Laughing

Excellent! Nothing like having a second opinion... I was getting tired of walking into the emergency room and sitting in the corner (drinking whiskey out of a brown paper bag) until someone noticed!

Only 3 Million copies?? And only a seven gig tour - of the Mags?! Mate, surely the demand will warrant at least a global tour (of the Mags) and several million more?! Seriously, looking forward to hearing the EP and getting shot of this bout of Chronic Call - hope it does the business with the record company stiffs!

What was that about Joel DJ'ing in Sly's?!?!!

Just a bit of a pipe dream I had Nick but don't think it's gonna happen. I lost out to a Bon Jovi tribute band! Gutted! Sad

They don't know what there missing! Oh well. I'll take my extensive vinyl collection of six records elsewhere! Smile

Just wondering if your Chronic Call Syndrome is growing back Nik? I know we're partly to blame with the sparse gig system, but haven't seen you about recently.

Show yourself my friend (obviously not in a dodgy manner, just jump out from behind that busy lifestlye you lead Wink

Here's a gnome to tempt ya!!

After further thought, I'm thinking the Chronic Call syndrome can be cured with the new medicinal Ernie Jackson antidote.

Just take two listens to the new material twice a day until symptoms disperse - a guaranteed cure for any patient.

A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down.

Very Happy
